Leaf blowers are the most malevolent sort. I swear the leaf blower guy at the office complex times his arrival for our outdoor lunch, turns off the blower when we stop talking, turns it back on when we try to talk again.

Wait I'm confused. Don't they use silent electric ones in CA? Obviously they have a voice activated speaker that they turn on when it's time for you to go on lunch and it just runs every time you speak

News to me! They are usually extremely loud and smell intensely of gasoline or kerosine.

I'm only teasing. 2 strokes were illegal when I lived there and I was sure they would have forced everyone off gas powered lawn tools by now.

1 hour of leaf blowing is equal to driving camry from LA to Denver?? How do they figure? You can run a leaf blower for a hour on less than half a gallon of gasoline, you wouldn't get that camry out of LA with that...

This is the first place I've seen these backpack style leaf blowers. I'm surprised they are in use. I can smell the fumes from 10 yards away, can't imagine wearing one.

And then we had that tornado last night which put all the sand right back on his driveway.

Depends on the species I believe as some have next to 0 PE even under the best conditions.
