thinking about changing salt mix

i've been using it for about 2 years now, changed to reef crystal, then found my SPS started to lose color.. then I changed it back.

I used it for a few months when I first started the tank but then I switched to Reef Crystals. I wouldn't say I'm overly impressed with RC but it's a LOT cheaper than Salinity or TM salt and I water change a lot. I'm just getting ready to set up my calcium reactor. We'll see what happens after that.

I've used plenty throughout the years. Began with Reef Crystals, went to TM Pro and didn't care for it. I was not running a CaRx or dosing so low Alk/ Ca. Went back to Reef Crystals.

Used it again for a while, switched to Salinity due to elevated levels of Alk/Ca and I use 2 part dosing. My corals hated it, had algae growth and nutrient issues. A friend and I actually split a barrel and had the same experience. Gave away the remainder. Began using the Red Sea Pro and really like it. Corals like it and it had great levels of Alk/ Ca so I'm not dosing a huge amount of either. Corals have began to really color up, great PE and growth. My friend has had similar experiences with it. So for now it's the one.

I've been using Reef Crystals and all my levels seem to hold well but I'm actually gonna try the salinity this next go around. Where do you guys buy it?

Music City reef or Aquatic Critter. ANy online retailer that has it is not getting it from Seachem as they do not permit online only sales. Call Scot at MCR as he has been able to get it in quickly.
