When we were in Missouri we woke up with a mid dobber(dauber?) in bed with us. Apparently they don't sting so... Still, don't want them in my bed!

We've got them in our yard; right next to he hammock. I want them gone but that is a discussion with the mrs who cares very deeply about the biodiversity of our yard. Pollinators I understand, we want those veggies, but they got the dog the other day and I'm not down for that.

Guy came out to take care of hornet problem. He also does bee removal so there is a chance I can score a cut out from him in the future. A cut out is exactly what it sounds like from either a house or other unwanted place.

Yeah beekeeping is alot like reefing. There aren't alot of people that do it and when they meet another person that does you can talk for hours. It was so nice talking shop.

Free bees. Minus the cost of labor. A starte pack of bees typically can cost 165-180$

Yes. Sometimes it's easy sometimes its more difficult. It all depends on where they are living. Unwanted swarms are the easiest. When you have to gut part of the exterior of a house not so much. Cool part is normally the keeper just destroys and removes. The homeowner has to fix.
Edit: beek typically charges homeowners labor costs to remove. So free bees and cash.

If I didn't have so many times consuming hobbies, bee keeping is something I could definitely see myself getting into.

Great part about bees is they don't take much time to work. An hr tops to check the hives. Now harvesting takes longer but that's only 1-2 times a year and you can do it when you have the time.
