Third time better be the charm

Got 5 bumble bee snails and a peppermint for the office tank. Vermited snails and aptasia were gearing a bit out of hand. Got some pods for the big tank. That's about all.

18 days. Then we're off. Once in a lifetime adventure.

Scored about 20 lbs of marco rock. Been dry for 2 months pressure washed it and now it's sitting in rodi. Need to add some rock to the 180g for more real estate when we get back.

Peppermint is mia in office tank. Evil clown. Sent off an icp for 180g. Alk went down again. This is getting to be a bit of a pit a. Added another tsp of alk8.3. Thinking I will need to set up a doser for it while I'm gone. Or may just let it ride. Fun times.
Wonderful friend @exnisstech sent me a photon to get some good par readings. Plan on testing that out tonight. Finally feeling like a grown up reefer.

Mud added. New old rock bleaching. Going to move some fish this weekend. The purple firefish, mollies and cardinal are going in the 180. Then the domino is going in the office with the he'll clown. Royal rumble time.

We seem to have traveled down pretty similar paths to get here. I started my first tank in March 2019 (55 gallons). Quickly upgraded to a 75 gallon, and finally moved to the 180 gallon. Basement sump as well on this build. I did a ton of research before starting… but now I feel like I have no clue what’s going on, so I may be picking your brain as well.
Only smart people, after research and study realize,,, we ain't know squat .

There is this thread here on them. From 2012. 5 people said they never bothered a thing.
"Angel lovers thread" here on r2r. It's 167 pages long. Tons of good, real info, as all have mixed angel tanks. The larger tanks, 300 gal plus are having very few problems with nipping, meaness etc... worth reading

Rock is out of the bleach and into regular h2o with a bit of prime just cuz. Too much to do and never enough time. Just gonna roll with it. Enjoy the long weekend.

Heading up to make appointment for when I get back from that one particular harbor. Here is what were going in to work with. Inner right shin.
