So cuc finally arrived. Should have been here Thursday. Still floated the bags even tho I couldn't see what was even in a few. Then opened one and about lost my dinner. Pics were taken pre and post float and sent to vendor for refund/replace. Vendor was also notified on Thursday when they didn't come that they were mia. Shipped a week ago. We will see what happens.

Stopped vinegar on Monday I think that was slowly bringing down my kh.
May start again if po gets crazy again. It didn't seem to touch nitrates, but I read that can happen.
All frags except grow out have been placed. Super happy with Battlecorals. I am getting limited on space so no more coral for a while. Hope to frag some of the easy sps for swap in Feb. That should give me a bit more room. I need to get the nems out as well. They are in a tricky place and stubborn.
Filed a claim with the usps for the dead critters. Vendor was being a bit difficult. Figured priority came with insurance so why not give it a shot vs haggling over what made it and what didn't with the vendor.
Going to be getting some new toys to play with over the next couple weeks. Doaer for dailies and ph controller to hook up a co2 scrubber.

Maybe vinegar dose every couple of days and not everyday

Ordered the doser. I got a 5 head Kamoer from Aliwhatever. For some reason you cant get it in the states but I found some reviews from Aus (parkers reef) and I already have Kamoer single dosers and the AWC so I am familiar with the apps and setting them up. I am super stoked to get it set up to handle my Moonshiners dailies. January is going to be tough as I am going to be gone more then home so I wanted to be sure the tank wasn't going to suffer.

Him and Chris Economaki. Best in the biz. The only decent announcer now is Mike Joy. I got to meet Dick Berggren at Daytona that was cool. Best experience ever though was meeting Junior Johnson. I fan girled over an 70 year old man.He was huge for the sport, thanks for linking!

So I have this (see above) taking up space and being used as a catch all in the basement. I was thinking it may be time to do something with it. Maybe connect it in (not permanently) to the existing 40g sump? But question is, would the work be worth the extra water volume? Thinking out loud....
I would need to extend the drain lines to dump in this vs sump (simple fix, but how to hang them?) may need another heater (have one), pump and PVC to run from tub to sump (have a Danner I never used, but its external, non controllable and maybe too much)....
Would have to shift mixing station over and get another "stand" (have the stand top part would just need 4 more cinder blocks). Light if used as a refugium (already have an old chinese black box just need to clean it up and hang it). What else am I missing?
Side shot. Rubbermaid would go where mixing station is now and mixing station would move down to the corner where the old QT tank is.
