It's really the only way to truely know what some of your dailies are at since the ATI kit will (should) only give you 0. They so say that starting out the ATI test is perfectly fine to use as well. I'm not quite there yet as my levels seem to fluctuate more then most and im still trying to get things in line. I have to start plugging in my results into a personal spreadsheet to see my trends since I'm not a fan of the ATI site. Maybe this weekend.

I had a personal spreadsheet I used where I exported the data from andres spreadsheet each time so I could track my own trends. Made it a lot easier, I was at the point where I could dose a couple of the correction elements weekly instead of monthly because I knew how much it would be consistently. Boron, Barium, Fluoride, etc. My dailies were on dosers at 2-3x the "standard" amount because of gonis/alveo (3x, they liked the mang) and everything else was 2x because of the ats.

I need to get this started again now that I'm actually coraling again.

Yeah that's exactly what I am hoping to be able to nail down. Tracking my own trends so I can figure out a weekly schedule.

Heading out to Tidal Gardens to pick up my snails. Then off to a glass blowing class. Then home to take care of the man. His cold has turned into a full blown sinus infection. He is passing on his Hot Wheels meeting so I know he feels like crap. Getting my knock off "Dremmel" in the mail so hope to frag up some stuff. Got a buy/trade lined up for this and I am so excited.

OK got my "Dremmel". Man gave me a little vice like thing so we're going to get to chopping tonight.
This week I am resetting the office tank. Keeping the clown and the mantis shrimp. Pulling the pvc and rescaping with new sand. Then will be getting a peppermint to take care of the aptasia. The nems will be staying at least a few for now.
Need to make some fresh water and get this tank back on track.
I would love to make it a mini version of the 180. Especially now that I have the 180g in a good place.
 
Fragged up the Duncan and hammer. Like my new toy very much. New piece pick up scheduled for Wednesday. Going to need to adjust my lighting to increase the whites from what I'm reading.
Water made for reset that will probably get done Friday night.
NASCAR "officially" starts Thursday and Daytona this weekend i am so excited.
Pitchers and catchers reported today as well. Spring is almost here!!
Checked the bees this weekend. Only have one hive still kicking. Which is really a good thing. 3 was too many to keep up with and now I have the room to do splits if they take off again. Will be breaking down one of the 2 dead hives soon and should have whatever honey they left, unless it got robbed out. Late February is silver maple bloom so the last hive should make it till then. fingers crossed.
 
Good morning real quick. Build thread badge gone? And just how worried/careful do I need to be when resetting the office tank with the Mantis? Its been popping away this morning like it knows somethings in the works.

i'd be more worried about crushing shrimp than it attacking you, but take video anyhow...:D
 
Tested this morning. Phos at 0. Ruh ro. Ni @ 30. Turned fuge light down. Fed some roids before lights on. Turned off skimmer. Will test again tomorrow and dose phos if needed.
Alk still low. 6.1. Need to figure out why my dosing doesn't impact it.
