This algae is a nightmare

I’d still recommend urchin over chemicals, Chemi clean will work but if root cause of red slime isn’t fixed it could come back and who knows how anemones will react
I'll put that on my list after I sort out this issue.
I use chemi pure blue in my anemone tank , it’s great , lowers phosphate / nitrate and provides carbon
Is the blue one better than the normal one?
Bacter 7 is very good. CP elite is very good and keeps water polished and PO4 and NO3 in check
Wow so many new things, I really have been out of the loop. I'll pick up a bottle of this bacter 7.

They do the same thing lol I prefer CP blue just cause it has purigen in it , I think the elite lowers phosphate a bit more not too sure

Does Not contain purigen which is a seachem product. Be careful with advice. Chemi-pure Blue contains pelletized activated carbon with a low ash content and reduces the potential of HLLE within your aquarium as the main ingredient is laboratory grade resin which removes organics and phosphates from th water while raising redox and helping stabilize pH. Its milder than elite which has a small content of ferris Oxide

My bad I also run purigen lol it slipped in there, now I kinda want to run CP elite so I don’t have to supplement GFO

I am going to have to dissect this for about an hour to understand what you just said. Lol. And a lot of googling.

Oh interesting, also a quick question on this chemi pure - elite? I just got it and its all wet inside, is this normal?

Yes. Moist to preserve elements in the pouch
