Description:
As you can see my phone suuuuuucks.... Sorry everyone...

This obviously has a mouth notice the orange, it has tenticals, that seem quite long now, I have noticed a few more just like it all over, but they are smaller. This one is huge. This rock is over 15 years old (my very first initiation). I have not bought any thing new in years. Therefore, there are no hitchhikers, but I have noticed these growing for years but never able to get to thier fullest potintial until this week. I had to turn to dosing with NOPOX due to some filter media issues (nitrate and phosphate issues). My RO/DI system went haywire on me for some reason and I was unaware until it was too late and I saw dangerous spikes during my weekly testing.
Therefore, now that the parameters are getting back to normal, and things are settling, I saw this beauty! The white dots are the tips of its tenticals, I am gonna faint. Coolest thing ever! She loves some reef roids too! Gobbles them up and begs for more!
Now, I am someone who tends to stray from disturbing my rocks, my deep sand bed (every time you do you kill tiny life forms benefiting every inch of the space) or anything due to all of the life I have within it (15 years worth). I have pink sponges, white, grey, all different kinds that are just hitch hikers. However, I need to know what she is, because they are popping up all over this enormous rock as if emerging from a dormatic state from all the termoil that has been happening in the last few years. Dont need them to be injured by the pain in the "ars" mushrooms attempting to take over the rock near all of them, or the zoanthids popping up either. As I stated with my tank in my build forum, I have litterally nothing but some mushrooms, nine zoanthid heads, two clowns and my hedonia saddle anemonie... Some of my clean up crew has been around as long as my hobby. One giant turbo snail, she must be nearing fifteen years old by now, and she is enormous! My anemonie can't stand her, because she wants to get behind her on the glass and sleep at night (laughs). Odd things you notice...
WELL ENOUGH OF MY RAMBLING!
PLEASE HELP ME IDENTIFY HER!

I am curious if it may be a Majano anemone, I know if left untouched, they have been known to reach up to three cm, and resemble quite similar to bubble tips, but I have only seen green ones, this one is completely translucent, however, this could be due to never seeing any light...

Yep fuzzy pic, at least on my phone

The clear tentacles, and white tips leads me to believe they could be ball anemones(which aren't anemones at all, but actually in the mushroom family). A better pic would help us help you.

Or google ball anemone and see if their pics match whats in your tank.

Corallimorphs are on my list due to how many others I am seeing as well..

Ah! Corallimorpharia it is then! Well, they are initially from the mushroom family but are called ball anemone due to their visual appearance. Yep after an interesting once over now that I have full lights, I have quite a few today... They are very beautiful... I am going to have an overabundance of them... They have never gotten that big before though, I have noticed they stayed about the size of a pencil eraser, and out of sight mostly over the years, but this big lady has my attention...

Yup over the years have seen them come and go, but typically never bigger then say a pencil eraser, as you have already mentioned.

If it's bigger then that, I would love to see a better pic of it under white lights? I think their pretty cool looking myself.

I think I was in the midst of typing my response to everyone's and didn't initially see yours, yes after looking closer at it, I am firmly suggesting it is a Corallimorpharia, also known as a Ball anemone however, yes it is from the mushroom family, I do know that much. I have been doing this for twenty years and am just thankful it isn't a Majano.... Looking at the images from a site I found which was a little more accredited in terms to me trying to make sure it isnt a specie I need to be leary of, it does match. However, like I said before, I have had these for years, but this is the biggest it has EVER gotten.... In 15 years, so why the sudden change you know?

Well, you are in luck because all my lights are up now, unlike the first image. Okay, give me a hot second and I will see what I can do! this is absolutely amazing, trust me I am like a kid in a candy shop right now!!!

No idea other then possibly being happy? Been doing this on and off for the better part of 30 years myself, and as I already stated I have never seen them get bigger then a pencil eraser. Not even sure if they do get bigger? Never did much digging into them as they do no seem to be a pest, or become invasive. They seem to like the less lit, less flow areas of a tank which a lot of the times go completely unnoticed. IMO.

LOL little peanut worm in action down there...
Yup 100% positive on the ID now.

That is a rather large one.
That's what I'm saying... very big, very odd too... they have also come and gone or have become displaced to another area, but never this large.... happiness shows I suppose...so, this rock is absolutely massive, the largest in my tank, and there are at least 15 visible... just on this one, only place I've ever seen them as well...
