This one's for the ladies

I have small hands (size 4.5 ring finger to give you an idea), and I finally found long gloves that work in the tank for me. They are Apex. I bought them through Amazon. I got the medium size, and they are surprisingly just a touch longer than my fingers.

I almost always have lotion on, so I *try* to keep my hands out of the tank unless I have gloves on.

I don't have any of those issues :-)
I only use lotion before bed time if and only IF I feel like I need to. The next morning the lotion has pretty much been gone. I do water change in the evening most of the time only so the lotion is 99.99% washed off already.

Like any other guys, if you look at the current viewing of this thread ;-), I chimed in as I am attracted to the title and I am kind of familiar with the OP ;-)

I use facial lotion every day and night but, since I have thus far refrained from sicking my face in any of my tanks, it has not been a problem, lol. Anyway, I always wash my hands well before sticking them in. My right arm's getting real tan, though, so maybe I need to turn off the lights, seeing as sun block is not an option.

Sigh, only because most members think I am male.

If I work in my tank I basically scrub my upper arms, lower arms and hands. Each day I do put on lotions (humidity is around 10-30%) it's hot here in Arizona and you need sun protection.

My man uses body sprays and I ask him to do so in another room with the door closed and windows open.

Seems silly, but I know lotions and aerosol products can be detrimental to the tank that I put so much hard work into.

Honestly I thought initially this was a silly thread subject, but when I started to consider the precautions I take I realized I do actually think about the products I use everyday and how I can prevent them from making their way into my tank.

I will have to give those a try! Especially after finally getting hit by a bristleworm lol. You can try switching to the coconut oil (can you tell yet how much I love this stuff haha). I melted it and poured it into an empty face cream tub and leave it next to my bed so I can rub it on my hands before I go to sleep:)

My dad grew up in Arizona and has told me how dry it gets there, so moisturizer is a must, there is nothing wrong with caring for our skin;) I think I would take the dry heat you get over Pennsylvania weather any day. It snowed here yesterday, in the middle of may:/ but a few days ago it was hot and humid from all the rain we have been getting. See not silly;) we all like to have our little beauty regimens, but we don't want them to impact the thing we all have in common and work so hard on. I will admit that I spend much more time working on my tanks then I do on my appearance though. And i spend waay more time looking at them then in the mirror lol

Ok you get a pass, those ones are good too! Now I am about to go get a doritos locos taco. If I can't fit into my bridesmaid dress next month I blame you haha.

Aww man just cut the belly part out like this

Hahaha I might just have to! But I wouldn't want to steal the attention away from my sister, and a big old taco gut hanging out of the maid of honors dress is sure to be an attention grabber lol.

They come in small too. I ordered the medium since some comments said they run small and that the small are essentially child sized. The medium work for me with just a small it of extra room for fingernails at the end. :)

I have mid arm gloves I use if I need to really reach in, otherwise I really wash down and then use medical gloves. Right now my tank is mostly a FOWLER only because it has 7 frags in it. But I have one anemone so their fore the medical gloves and use only paper towels to dry
