Lol but I see your point. Well I have looked into it and I don't think any of my inhabitants should bother it (at least I would hope not). Do you think it's not worth getting one then?

I have only tried one over 15 years. It didn't work out. I don't have the experience to tell you one way or the other. I can tell you that stwaterfish.com is a quality supplier.

I’ve ordered from them and have had no issues. Their livestock is well packaged, though my most recent order was on the cold side upon arrival. One of the fish (six line wrasse) was upside down and barely moving. It was unexpectedly on the colder side weather wise. However, upon starting acclimation he instal immediately came to life and is doing just fine in the tank. He was probably sleeping since there was a bit of slime in the bag. I’ll continue purchasing from them if they have a specimen I wanted to add.

just an update to anyone using Saltwaterfish.com, new policy is 8 day guarantee and 6 month credit.
Used to be 15 days and 18 months.

I just ordered from them on friday and was not impressed by the health of the fish. 2 of the five are dead so far and it hasn't even been 48 hours. The elibi angel had scales that were raised and had some red marks on its stomacc and didn't look healthy. And the butterfly fish which was in a different qt tank died over night. Maybe it was the shipping or maybe they were sick. The flame angel I ordered has tattered fins may even be a bacterial infection he seems to be breathing harder than I'd like again maybe ammonia. I should have tested the bag water they came in. They were only in the bags for 24 hours max as I picked them up at the fed ex facility at 10 am so they weren't driving around in a hot truck all day.
I put the tickets in for the dead fish we will see how it's resolved but based on my experience so far I don't even want to deal with the headache of trying to nurse any fish from them back to health. I rather buy local and see the healthy specimen I'm buying.

Figured I’d chime in here since there are a couple “new-er” posts for anyone debating on ordering from them with my experience and a little info:
First, circa 2016-2018 was the “golden age” for me of ordering fish on LiveAquaria. Their livestock always showed up healthy, their prices were great, $99 min for free shipping, 14 day guarantee with refunds (not credits) and they also offered a free “re-ship” on your new order to compensate for losses. Absolutely un-beatable, made a lot of orders over the years and I never got fish from the LFS.
After not ordering fish online for several years and knowing the absolute demise of LiveAquaria, I decided to give swf.com a try this past week being fully aware their guarantee and credit policy was garbage, but I planned to order $179 in fish so free shipping made it work.
First, one day after placing my order they dropped the price on two fish and added a better “freebie” which was a bummer, but hey…i made the order when i did. I decided to let my order ride and not try to cancel or complain due to a Blenny that was now out of stock.
The day of shipment I got a generic notice AFTER my order shipped that the Blenny which was a major part of the order “failed inspection” so they shipped without it and refunded the amount. No advanced notice, no option to cancel, to wait on the Blenny to come back in stock, nothing. I contacted them, complained and got a $15 “credit.”
Fish arrived yesterday at the FedEx facility and I picked them up as soon as the location opened (8:30am.)
No complaints on packing, it was reminiscent of old LA packing with the nicely packaged styrofoam box/heat pack/packing peanuts. Fish were all alive but two were questionable. Immediately upon introduction into QT I noticed the male Anthias had a big whitish patch above its dorsal fin (most likely Uronema) that slowly got worse throughout the day.
Less than 24 hours after introduction to a clean but bio established QT, a Forktail Blenny is dead and the Male Anthias died this morning (24 hours.) I’m fairly certain the Anthias that “passed inspection” came in with Uronema. I’ve included a couple pics @4 hours and @12 hours after being in QT.
I don’t have high hopes for the remaining 3 fish but will do everything I can to rehab. I wouldn’t advise them if you aren’t experienced with treatment and plan to QT extensively. By the way, you can’t use your “credit” if they award it to you for the marine life total to equal a minimum shipping amount on your re-order so it’s highly likely you’ll end up way overpaying for fish that come sick and don’t make it. Exercise caution with them, do some reading. YMMV.

I know this is an old post but thought I'd chime in on my and my girlfriend's experience with saltwaterfish.com, I'm going to start another one after this or chime in on other posts.
On our first order of 2 separate orders between us about 600 dollars, we ordered I think 15 fish, 8 were green chromis.
1 green chromis arrived dead, 3 others never got off the bottom of quarantine tank before they died and the rest died over a few days time.
A hippo tang that I received as a bonus for ordering 279 dollars arrived doing head stands and had some sort of a blemish on its gill area, it died in a day or two, no replacement for that fish.
A blenny of my girlfriends died after 4 days.
A sailing tang which was extremely skinny died in under 5 days.
Two of the 3 banghaii cardinals died in 5 days, we still have 1.
We kept them in 2 separate quarantine tanks and were doing tank transfer method.
My girlfriend got a store credit and used it last week on 2 banghaiis and a 6 line wrasse, the banghaiis arrived dead and wrasse is OK after 6 days now.
She had to spend a packaging fee and shipping fee to get these fish and is now out another 50 or so dollars.
I'll never use them again because they ship sick fish.
I've had discus sent from Germany several times and they always arrived healthy because they were healthy when they were bagged up.
I am going to make a detailed post about this with pictures and communications between us and saltwaterfish.com so you can see how this could go for you.
