Not sure exactly what year but my marine tank in the early 80’s running on under gravel filter and it was before you could get live rock.

Shortly thereafter, I got talked into ditching my metal halide / VHO lighting in favor of some AI Sols and then Hydras. The tank never looked the same and declined until I tore it down in 2017.

My lighting is a pair of Kessil A360WE's on Kessil's 90 degree mounting arms controlled by a Bluefish LED Controller.
I have a pair of Ecotech Vortech MP10's
A Reef Octopus 110INT skimmer
