Looking amazing Paul! Can't wait to see that Blueberry Fantasy grow out!

Just received my latest Automatic Coral Fertilizer Machine on Monday, a nice Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse. He's in the QT right now getting used to US time lol. I was concerned the first 8 hours he was acting pretty strange even floated upside down a few times but I figured that it was because he was still in Fiji time. As of last night he's acting and doing perfectly fine and eating very well. His colors are still off a little but I'll try and get a few pics this weekend if he isn't too skittish. Although when I was feeding last night, my hand at the top of the tank wasn't freaking him out at all. He figured out real quick I was the giver of food.

Hi Paul,

what is your light cycle on this tank, and what was it on the last tank. I believe I'm recovering from having my blue LED's on too long, 16 hours daily so I've been bugging people with light cycle questions. :D New corals look great, I missed that update.

Mark, do you have an AI device? I can link you a file to my light profile for you to try.

Other than that, the ramp and times are the same as on the 29, the only thing I did was change the intensities. Right not the max value is UV 25 - V 40 - DB 55 - RB 75 - G 35 - R 15 - CW 25

Thanks Paul, I'm using T5's on my main tank with BML led strips lights. On my 29 I'm using a reefbreeders photon. I was running blues longer than 12 hours and since cutting back I've noticed a remarkable improvement. I may have been screwing this up since switching to T5. :D Thanks for posting the chart!

No problem, one of the things I did on the 29 was run my whites up another 25% for an hour with 45 ramp each way during the middle of the day, I found that made my blues in my corals really darken and turn a deep blue. I haven't done that with this tank as my greens and blues are looking pretty good so far

Not including ramps, lights run from 11am to 6pm, I do a 4 hour ramp in the morning and a 3 hour ramp in the evening. Mostly for my viewing pleasure.

I figured it was time for a small update. New tank is at the 6 month mark. I really haven't done much with it, just letting it run on auto-pilot. Despite an OCD'ish approach to preventing anything get into the new tank, the dreaded bryopsis I've been battling for years in the 29 managed to make it into the new tank. Took it 5 months to show up. It's not bad, but truly ticks me off. I guess it gives me something to fuss over.

New FTS - just ignore the sun reflection, I got sloppy.

Working on grabbing a few updates this week, but did get a few new shots of the fish. Most behaved well in front of the lens. On a separate note, I did finally do another water test last week, first one since last October, everything still the same except the Po4 is back where I want it at .03

Would love to see updated photos. How is the skimmer doing?

Well, it's been awhile since my last update, and since it's been a rainy weekend I decided to pull out my gear. Tank is doing pretty good, still knocking out the last of the bryopsis and only have a small patch or two left. Picked up a one-spot foxface and he rather enjoys the stuff. Other than that I really haven't added much to the tank, been buying lenses instead. And you thought reefing was an expensive hobby.

Photobomb.....

I shut the pumps off for a FTS, that's why the water looks low.

dude your tank is just so awesome!Could you post some update pics?Right now I have a Ai Hydra HD over my BC29 running all channels at around 45% and I think it might be too high,do you think reducing the CW will have damaging effects?

Beautiful job!

Thanks guys! I'm happy to report I kicked the evil bryopsis out of the tank. It only took 2 years. lol I'll get some new photos up soon.
