Tips or advice for removing a magnifica anamone ?

Actually I used too have one !!! But thanks how can you tell and what’s the difference if I may ask ?

for heteractis crispa, the first clue is that it was buried in your sand bed. these anemones also have clearly visible verrucae or little white bumps on the foot of the anemone. you had a very healthy specimen (nice work!) your anemone is the same one you always see at pet stores completely white with purple dots on the short, stubby tentacle tips (these are not healthy specimens!) healthy specimens tend to have long and tapered tentacles.
heteractis magnifica prefer to perch on top of rocks or on smooth surfaces, and like someone mentioned above, love being blasted with water movement and light. no visible verrucae on the exposed foot. their tentacles tend to be more rounded at the tips.

will you get another anemone to replace the one you sold?

As the titel says ive sold my magnifica anamone because Well hes To big for my tank .. problem he sits attached under one of my main display rocks .. at the moment ive got a powerhead on him in the hope he Will let go and move ...
I can pull the rock but its a lot of work ( busy now filling a container big enough ..
Never done this before and i dont wanna rip him of the rock .. ive found a good home for him Nice big tank ..
Ive read everything i can find , so i know About putting ICE cubes in a bag and massaging th foot .. but I will only be able too do that if I pull the rock first and can get too his foot .. gonna have too take apart half my rockscape for this
Where do aim the powerhead ..at him full on ??try too get under him ??

I wouldn't take the chance of trying to disconnect him from the rock. Personally, I'd sell the rock with the nem rather than damage it.

So I’ve pulled my rock .this guy sits well fast now he’s hanging upside down

Couldn't you cut off a small piece of rock where the nem is connected?

@Ron Popeil ,Thanks for the info , he was very pale in color when I got him ..He colored up beautiful.. he was one of my first buys when I was a noob ..he fitted in the palm of my hand when I got him .. he was easily 50-60cm in diameter when I sold him..I still have 2 rainbow bubble tips which are now hosting my breading clowns ..

Couldn't you cut off a small piece of rock where the nem is connected?

@Dom , hi no that wasn’t possible as he was attached to one of my main reef Pilar’s (one one the left of this photo) ..
but it all ended good .. I suspended him in the crate I was using .. he let go himself within 20 mins .. no harm too his foot .. he now sits in a tank of 1000 ltrs (mines 350) so he has all the room he needs .. he was so big he was stinging a lot of my corals !

This is him in my old tank , last year
