So I did a water change last weekend and siphoned off the diatoms from the sand. i’ve been watching and things look good. The water is clear and my sand is sparkly. Now, I’m worried my snails might not have enough to eat.

How can I tell if the’re starving before it is too late?
Or should I just drop a bit more food in than the fish eat? I’m fairly stingy with the feedings.
