Better buy several that way you'll be able to drill all the way through your glass at least once. LOL.

Well I ordered it so we shall see haha

If I can get one hole drilled I'll be happy :P

Everything else for this build will be here next week but the drill bits on ebay take over a week and I refuse to spend $20+ to use a bit once haha

Agreed, most likely you'll get one use out it. That's one hole. The thing that would stear me away would be if they disintegrated while in use and it chipped my tank.

Well I only paid $20 for the tank at a yard sale haha brought it home and cleaned then resiliconed the entire tank :\

if all fails I guess I'll just have to settle for something bigger :\ awe well ;) haha

I will say I looked through the reviews for it online and all of the blades seem to have a very high rating as far as cutting glass or marble so I hope that is a good sign.

Hope they surpass your expectations. Please report how they do. Good luck.

I hope so

Its for a 55g long but the stand I have built is 67" long so If need be I can switch out the tank. I'd rather not have to do that though seeing how I already ordered a light -.-

You'll be ok I bought a 30 dollar bit from brs and a 10 dollar bit from Amazon and they both worked though the brs bit is more stout and can definitely be used a couple more times the $10 bit did it's job and I doubt I'll use any of them any time soon again .

yeah thats how I see it

There are better bits on amazon for not much money. Look for uxcell diamond holesaws. I was able to drill all three holes for my overflow with one.

I used ones like that on my 180 and my frag tank. I got 4 holes out of it.

They look exactly like the ones from BRS. I wouldn't be surprised if they're awesome and you just stumbled on an amazing deal. The cheaper ones I have like that cut identical to expensive Milwaukee bits.

Yeah but why 42mm ? You said 1.5" bulkhead, that should be 63-65mm hole.

thank you for pointing this out... I was thinking 42mm converted to inches is like 1.6" haha I wasnt considering radius

that would have been a big problem, not sure how hard it would be to redrill the hole bigger.

I'm gonna go ahead an order a 2 3/8" bit since thats what glass holes recommends for a 1 1/2 bulk head
