Tom's AquaLifter Pump Rebuild kits

For years you could buy these kits to rebuild AquaLifter pumps. Well in the last couple of years vendors kept showing "out of stock" and when I asked about them they all said "just buy a new pump, they're cheap". Well problem is I own 6 and two were in need of rebuild and I have no plans of adding anything more to landfills then I have too. Well low & behold - Marine Depot has them for $14.00 per kit and it takes minutes to rebuild. Just an FYI

Funny I bought the kits and I could not get them to work, I watched the BRS video but that did not work. Is it possible to make a video?

Trust me, I came very close to tossing mine but I held onto the "rough ones" for parts just in case. Turns out, I now have 6 full working pumps. I am going to by a couple of extra kits.

Mine was running like crud and I was going to order the kit. Instead I pumped vinegar for 5 minutes and it now works great.

Everyone's out including marine depot. Mines running my overflow box and I'm tired of spitting out saltwater every morning. Would love to know if anyone knows where a rebuild kit would be I'll post if I find one

Did you ever find one? I worry all the time that mine will fail one day

I have a a Tom’s aqualifter that I got when I bought a used Calcium Reactor set up. I’ve never used it. Last I tested it was working fine. You pay shipping and it’s yours. Just DM me.

i wanted to buy a spare aqualifter a while back and couldn't even find pumps in stock, some vendors even listed them as discontinued... anyone know if there's any truth to that?

We will find out, just ordered it. But I need it ASAP because mine is starting to no pull as much water through and I do not want it to flood before I get my next tank upgrade

Let's hope I ordered 1 as well usually always have 1 as back up but been hard to find
