Too many anemones

You’re lucky to have a good lfs close by. I’m in Boston and there are none. I’ve visited multiple in the greater Boston area (because there are none located in the city) and only one had decent fish for livestock, though their coral selection was pretty small and the tank had algae everywhere. Thankfully Boston has a pretty robust reef club otherwise I’d be pulling my hair out lol.
Grootzilla try Love the Reef in Wilmington MA. Worth the drive from Boston about 15 mins. You wont be disappointed. Could you give me the title of the Boston Reefers club please I'm from Mass but live in Southern Maine now no groups around except NH that I was aware of. Much Appreciated

I’ve used 1/4 air tube connected to a submersible pump directly flowed to the nem. It’s powerful yet gentle and they’re usually off whatever they’re attached to within 5 minutes for me.

i've been tempted to try this as just merely pointing a powerhead is a little too broad to accomplish the task.

Works like a charm. They ball up and, let go.

I’ve never tried the nem cannon. I’ve read that it works great too.

that was my first plan but after looking close its going to be a mess trying to get the ones on the back. maybe i'll sip on some christmas cheer this weekend and blast some nems!

Focused water flow from an air line tube has been my most effective method. After almost killing my favorite Rockflower trying to get its foot to let go this has been my go to for nem removal.

I feel you on the nems.
I started with 1 I got from a local reefer for $25...
now I have 4 in my 110, 2 in the 55, and however many Felicia has collected in her 20g lair

Got em, well one anyway. First cannon was too short, about 3" and the nem could stretch from the rock to top. That sponge decomposed so another attempt with longer pipe, 7" and it let loose of the rock. Now off to the LFS.

I didn't get a picture of it but it's under the sponge and soon stretched out the end.

Nem Cannon mod 2. Worked! Soon to be delivered to the LFS. Still have more to catch.

Awesome. Love to see this working for others.
