100 gallon 5 foot in length. I just installed my Tunze 6095 right now I have them on the sides about 7inches down from from the top both aimed towards the front of the tank and across.. one is currently puls between 60% max and 30% low.. the other have pulsing from 40%-20% power .. about 4 second pulses. These provide an ample amount of flow vs my old ones. This is only day one but the flow doesn’t seem natural they don’t sway back and forth. Thoughts and suggestions please ?

I run 4 MP40 with each changing the flow every hour. I will tell you that my hammers/frogspawns definitely prefer when the flow is a calmer waving motion. They all adjust over time and get use to it

They can handle much more than that if needed. Many Euphyllia, Fimbriaphyllia and others live in pretty strong flow in the wild. That looks just fine

yeah they just look nothing like they when I first got them maybe it’s other issues I need to tend to.. any other things I should be concerned about from the looks of them

Flow looks good to me. Nice and steady . Not beating them to death . ..

They don’t look as healthy as they were originally do you notice anything about them that seems off? I figured my new flow would allow them to get rid of all detritus

ive felt the same way about it my hammers.. initially they love the low flow but overtime they started to point downwards for me.. hoping the pulse will help my hammers balance that

Shrubby, short, non extended polyps

Nitrates are low. They might be happier with a bit higher. Any changes to your lights recently?

I upgraded from amazon lights to 3 hydra 26s in November 2019. They seemed to love it in the beginning .. how do you suggest I raise nitrates ?

I raise my nitrates by just feeding more but you could dose KNO3 or cut down refugium/skim more dry. Did you change intensity or spectrum on the lights recently

I recently raised them becusse I initially had them at 6in above tank water which was way too intense for the corals.. right now they sit about 11-12 in above the water.. I made this change about 3-4 weeks ago
