Yeah but it's not for eatin' It's just for lookin' through. They are seriously selling that for over $100?
Screw that company. I was just considering an apex the past few days, but this just confirms their stuff is ignorantly overpriced.
...otherwise, it would be bright orange! It was all in Jest @mindme

10 Micron socks (Marine Depot is the only place I've seen them) are awesome for fine cleaning! That would be perfect for filtering right back into the tank in a system without a sump - or with.+3 on the hose to sock in sump.
I use a 10 Micron sock.
Looks like this thread is goin on a missouri boat ride..................I love the movie and he is probably my favorite all time character.

I thought the shovel was ground breaking.Well, it is groundbreaking technology...
The No Spill has worked for years. Just as any regular water change you can send old water down the drainDoes anyone have a recommendation for a gadget to easily remove detritus from the bottom of a tank. A turkey baster or julian’s thing can suck up the pile….but the stuff just falls out when I raise them out of the tank. I feel like I must be missing something obvious. Like a baster with back flow valve. Obviously I could and do manage this with a tube and gravity siphon, but that entails a bucket (no sump) and just seems inefficient. Thanks.
They work good for a little while. I consider them a disposable item.I saw this on another thread and have been keeping an eye on it for future use:
That looks great. Likely easier than a plug in pump. Gonna give it a try. Thanks.I saw this on another thread and have been keeping an eye on it for future use:
Pro Tip...
using just a 1/2 inch hose, push it against your return nozzle and it will start the siphon for you - no sucking.
