Picked up some sps from a store kinda close to me today (like almost 70 miles away haha)

They are in this tank right now until I get the leds setup on my display tank.

Nice frag tank. One suggestion I would change out the duplex receptacle with a GFCI duplex receptacle.

I have been thinking about it. Very low risk for water getting to the actual outlet, but all my power strip are mounted on my stand. I'm going to pick one up on Thursday and see if I can switch it out.

I got my leds for my display today and put them on the frag tank with only the blue channel on to see what the corals looked like. And it blew my mind! I'm going to have a light built for it next. Here are some pics. Everything was glowing better than the pictures show, but I couldn't get the colors to come out. These photos are not edited.

Did you use any kind of a special bit to drill the holes in the acrylic? When I drill acrylic I chip out the stuff.

Yes I bought a plasdrill bit. Some holes had chip out but most were good

I started cutting up my frags. I still have two eye of rah and a magician colony to cut up. 36 plugs so far.

Nice stuff!! I also have a 10g frag Tank / QT tank with a sump, maybe a fts ? Unless I missed it in the thread. Regardless beautiful looking stuff thank you for sharing!!!

So I found a 50 gallon 52x31x12 inch tub I'm going to get to have a bigger frag tank. I'll set this system up in the basement. I'm gonna get a big skimmer so I can add another tub the same size in the future. Not sure what I will do with my ten gallon tank. I may leave it connected to my system but not sure and do just SPS frags in it. I'm still having algae problems in the frag and the display.

So a snail clogged my overflow. 10 gallons pumped out while I was at work. I luckily had water made for a wc today because I'm getting like 10 frags from ZoaCollector tomorrow. I changed my racks around and I think I like them before now.
