Just picked up a reefkeeper lite, and pulled the trigger on leds and drivers. C_healy is building me a light, I'm pumped about it.

All leds are phillips except the violets and are coming from Steves leds

I ordered:

3 true violet
3 hyper violet
10 royal blue
2 deep red
2 cyan
2 cool white
2 warm white
4 neutral white.

Also picked up 2 meanwell eln-60-48d drivers

I now need to grab an alc for my rkl to control this thing. I can't wait to get rid of my ah supply power compact kit (3x65 watt) and to not have to buy bulbs anymore.

here is a pic of my new light turned up higher, not even at 100 percent though!

Looking good bro!

been playing with a photo editor app on my phone. i don;t want to tweak them too much, but just try to get the colors to look more like what i see because my phone washes out a lot of color...

No way. I currently have:

1 pair sa fancy snowflake clowns
1 royal gramma
1 yellowtail damsel
1 yellow watchman goby (paired with a pistol shrimp)

Also a coral banded shrimp and a blood red fire shrimp.

So this week I I received my rodi unit I've been wanting to buy. I realized I've been spending 10 dollars a week at the water store. I picked up a 90 gpd refurbished spectrapure 4 stage system. The thing looks brand new to me!

Finally my light should be here Monday. Ups crushed the box and sent it back to c_healy, and when he checked it out 2 of the royal blues didn't work. Being the awesome dude he is, he took two leds off his own fixture, fixed mine, and shipped it out the next day. I'll be getting some wood this next week to build a canopy to match my stand and to mount the light in. It will be open top with the led unit mounted inside. I'll probably add a fan to pull air into the canopy. I'm also going to add 2 24 watt t5ho bulbs in reflectors and use my workhorse 3 ballast. This tank should be bright. So excited. Pics of course will follow.

Didn't I see a seastar in the 81st post?

Yes I have a red fromia.

I also picked up a 1 inch six line wrasse. I couldn't resist. He is so pretty.

got my leds hooked up and programmed with my reefkeeper. about to head to work but will snap some pictures before i go in and try to post them later.

Got my leds! Programming the reefkeeper was a pain but I got it figured out. They are running at 20 percent this week and I'll up it by 10 percent a week until I get it as bright as I'd like. Tomorrow I'm going to move my sps frags, and a bunch of zoas over from the frag tank to the display. I also want to have a light built for the frag tank now. The royal blues make colors pop like crazy. Uploading a video.
