Toucan Zoa

That zoo is sweet, I think your pics look good. Might be able to get a little clearer with macro setting unless you are using it already. Nice.

BTR , I'm Trying to remember but what was the difference between these and the japanese deepwaters that are called , the centers of these will also change in color be it lighter or darker or morph just like fruit loops and other dwz or eagleeyes .

Been a while, here's an updated pic. There currently down by the sand but they get a ton of light under the LED's.

I would say they colored up exactly like Emeralds on Fire, as Charles stated above. Interesting example of how wild polyps can morph under our tank lighting.

Curious if anyone still has any of these...

I don't have a ton of zoas but these are by far the brightest in my tank and definitely my favorite.

in a year they have some nice growth, do agree they did change colors. i like the new colors just as much. i like all the contrast colors they have and would love to have some myself. i dont know how you all know all the names of the zoas, they start to look all the same to me:squigglemouth:
good luck

Yeah i agree those are some sexy looking emeralds!! The skirts on there are outta control neon!! Love it!

That is a crazy morph from what they originally looked like. I have to say, they were super sweet before, but they are out of control sweet now. I like the morph better. I keep scrolling up to look. :)

How many polps do you think are there? Would you say that is pretty good growth? Medium or slow? Thank you for the progression!

I think they actually grow pretty quickly, I've got about 30 polyps at this point I think.

I like the before and after photos just the same! Awsome looking. Please put me on your list if you ever frag!

mine came directly from BTR a while back. but this what they look like now. still on the same plug as the OP's but have encrusted a little on the rockwork. hopefully, another year and will look more natural. ;)
