diff not a scoly its an open brain (Trachyphyllia), I had a red and green one a long time ago similar to this in shape and feeding behavior.
Nice are they still calling the open brains Wilsoni or am I way off here?

I can't keep up on different names. I gave up after reclassification on hammers and frogspawns.
Doesn't matter, it's a beautiful coral you have and all those different appearances mean it's very happy in it's environment too.

Man I have no clue I live in the uae and I can say we are still not affected by the name game plaque. All gold torches are gold torches regardless if hell fire, dragon soul etc…

So there is salvation out there

Tyvm! I was hoping for more pics to pop up. They are so beautiful with their own traits. Torches get tons of attention. Trachies need more love!

I just got this small pink and purple a few weeks back. The big green and red is in the back corner. My trachys seem to love the corners of my tank for some reason.

Could be the water flow. Mine likes the cave I built for it.

And always hungry! I love the fluorescence of the tentacles.

There must be different sub species of trachyphylia. My neon sits under a cave like yours but doesn't even appear to have tentacles ever extended or visible. My green and purple has tentacles like yours that extend at various times in the day.

I am sure there are plenty of sub species. I believe, the surface has only been scratched.

I think It’s gonna end up like when alvepora, goniopora and Bernardopora were all classified as the same thing until recently.
