transferring fish question

I think you will be just fine, but as @ktfloyd01 mentioned I usually let the tank cycle for 30 days before adding any fish. adding more bacteria isn't necessary but wont hurt.
People should take things with a grain of salt sometimes (excluding the tm turkish blend).

yeah I prefer to wait as well but I'm under time constraints and my wife hates having 2 tanks up and running. everyone's in the tank and doing fine so far. I also have things on hand in case an issues arise.

I had this one cycling for a bit, but I'm leaving for vacation mid January. don't want the person I'm having watch my tanks have to deal with 2 setups. also wife isn't in love with having to see both tanks (we're in an apartment).

Yep had the exact same scenario with my current tank had to transfer my corals a bit early too. Luckily everything went smooth.
