Treatment?

Looks like you’ve gotten some great advice here. Prazi resistant flukes are increasingly common, but the most threatening ailment is uronema. Anthias get this frequently.

I've had this fish for five weeks now. Does Uronema pop up after that period. And after running prazipro twice and cupermine for 14 days?

Cupramine (or any copper) can suppress uronema (but not eradicate it) so it’s certainly possible. It could also be stress marks from something else. It wouldn’t hurt to treat for it to be safe, either way, IMO.

So over night I lost the fish, what the heck seriously, so frustrating. Between its eyes it looked a little dark. Regardless super annoyed. I took fish out of tank this am. Put in FW and another fluke popped off. Looked full size like others I've seen, and same size as one that jumped off last night.

From the time I've noticed fish colouration changing has only been about 4-5days. FW dipped three days ago and saw nothing. Colouration didnt notice huge difference until last night when I really noticed a difference.

Now I still have two clowns and a yellow coris in that tank. What should I treat first now. These three fish ha e always looked super healthy, but so did the Anthius until 5 days ago. Ugh...

You KNOW there was flukes present so hypo might be a good start and those fish will tolerate that well. And you can easily do this without meds in Canada. After hypo go up slowly on salinity like .003 per day changes.

I use 1.009 for hypo to keep a safety factor and hypo will deal with the prazi resistant flukes. Then your next treatment will depend on what you see but you need a fallow period to let the flukes in the DT die off. 6weeks min as I recall.

Fallow period for flukes is 4 weeks, 6 weeks for velvet and brook, 76 days for ich, there is no fallow period for Uronema.

Sorry for your loss :(

It’s rough out there right now..

If I went the hypo salinity direction. After the 5 days. I bring back up to normal levels. At that point, do we assume flukes are iradicated? Do I need to tear down tank and dry it out?

No, the flukes would be dead. You could sterilize it but you’ll probably have treatments to pursue as the salinity reaches normal S.G anyways
