Equp i run. Hob bio wheel filter, reef oct nano skimmer, 3 power heads and t-5. Lots of live rock. Key sunday water changes every week. For me that is. Every system is different

You were just commenting how you couldn't raise the lights when you tried where someone else didn't have that problem with their polyps. I dunno if you want to characterize that as an"issue"....but it's interesting nonetheless!

Using a meter would let you accurately gauge your changes so you could reliably and predictably increase intensity only a small amount and not cause that reaction.

(No comment on whether changing your lights would have been a good idea or not...I'm just saying this would be how to do it. )

Maybe i said something wrong lol but I m not having issues currently. Every thing has been blowing up. I will keep that in mind if i do thanks for the advice sir

Regardless its all about looking out for eachother and giving info. I appreciate it as always, thats the reason for these forums. We all give good advice to have a more enjoyable hobbie. So hope you didnt think i was being ungrateful , i take all help i can get.

What kind of light meter do you use?

Were you asking me? I use apogee. Most of these tiny zoas i try to stay around 100 par sometimes less. The bigger guys i have all the way up to 300 par. Like cats eyes, Superman's, even scrambled eggs.
