Why not build a shelf?
you didn't offend me - its no problem. But you do realize - just for the sake of honest debate - you said 'Neptune doesn't need revenue from reagents'.I didn’t mean to offend you. I was trying to explain why the cost of reagents is there. If it were free, they wouldn’t be in business.

I see. You could always build a shelf next to the tank and drill holes into the stand to run tubing. I built a whole controller board for my Jbj 45 and have my dos tubes run through thatthe trident height+ the water level of the sump is greater than the height of the cabinet.
And they don’t, but if they gave reagents away, they would lose money.you didn't offend me - its no problem. But you do realize - just for the sake of honest debate - you said 'Neptune doesn't need revenue from reagents'.![]()
That’s ammonia and ph. Much cheaper tests...Also on the regent cost I don't believe anyone has mentioned what the others are charging. However, to put it into somewhat apple to orange type comparison Seneye slides are 30 to 35 bucks for 3 (you can buy 3 or 6 slides) not including shipping or tax which puts you into the 10 - 15 dollar / month range to monitor Ammonia and pH.
Yes - I want to try to figure a way to do it in the cabinet. Thanks though- nice setupI see. You could always build a shelf next to the tank and drill holes into the stand to run tubing. I built a whole controller board for my Jbj 45 and have my dos tubes run through that

I do not use the slides only picked it up for the PAR meter but it did cross my mind when the subject was raised.Well - no offense - but - they didn't charge a price for Fusion - so thats a positive. Nor does any other company of which im aware (echosmart, maxspect) charge for their apps/internet access. Nor Nest, Schlage locks, Philips Hue, etc - thats why the prices are higher to begin with - to pay for the apps, etc.

Thanks mdPlease do not troll here. I've removed inappropriate content from this thread, and I ask that we keep discussion civil and respectful. Feel free to disagree with each other, but let's keep it appropriate.![]()
Aqua man! Aqua man! Aqua man!...Long Live the Trident!
How? And where did you pre order something that can’t be pre ordered yet?I personally don’t mind the cost as I spend more per month on reagents. I have the trident pre ordered and can’t wait to get it hopefully later this month or in May.
I test cal, alk, mag Atleast once a day. Preorderd from BlueSeasAquariums. It’s an authorized Neptune systems distributor and happens to be the largest distributor in the south eastHow? And where did you pre order something that can’t be pre ordered yet?
Pay the $600 up front, you go on a waiting list so when it comes out, you get trident earlier then others and don’t have to wait for people to get back in stockHow? And where did you pre order something that can’t be pre ordered yet?
Ahh I don’t see it they only have the controller on the websitePay the $600 up front, you go on a waiting list so when it comes out, you get trident earlier then others and don’t have to wait for people to get back in stock
