The drains on the sump go under water so there's no splashing, Then the water overflows into the 7 inch sock, I'll get a pic of mine today and show ya what I mean it's kinda hard to explain lol.

Why would trigger sys only allow a web forum to sell a sump. Also why would there be no info on them anywhere but the forum. That seems a little strange to me. Though I am leaning towards one of them. Lol

They don't sale them through the Web, They supply aquarium stores with them, So you will need to talk to your local fish store and see if they get there stuff via Dfw, If so your local fish store will give you any info you need, You won't find any info online yet cause they are brand new just came out, You can email trigger systems to and find out if any stores in your area can get them.

And I totally agree its weird they don't just sale them everywhere lol,Tons of people would have them by now if they did but instead I don't know anybody else with one nor have I heard of anyone getting one because there not released and out on display yet.

You said they are brand new? I don't consider a five month old product brand new and I honestly find it a little suspect that a year after release they are still not on trigger systems website . I just emailed trigger sys though and asked them if it is really from their line.

I'm just going by what trigger systems said, just wait for there email back if you don't believe me,Why would I lie about a sump haha?come on man lol, And there brand new because they aren't even available on there site yet, But I did just go through my old emails and they said they do plan on putting the tideline series on there site along with a few other new models and that was back in January, They just haven't came around to it yet I guess.

Lol no worrys, Here's the dimensions of the skimmer section (for the 30 inch version) and if you go back to the first pics I posted of the sump there should be a pic of all the other dimensions there to. Hope that helps
