Interesting that I also noticed problems in lps and nps tissue recession and death in larger colonies. Sps continued to thrive tho.

So how do you know if your bucket came from Turkey or Germany. I'm a bit suspicious on what I have. My first tank and got a bucket of TM Pro for a great deal in November. My tank has been running for a month. Everything started great. Just today I noticed the corals are taking a turn for the worse after thriving for the first 2 weeks in the tank.

Do I have a bad batch or does Made in Germany mean Made in Germany?? How can I confirm, I see nothing on the bucket but this. No batch or dates.

Note that the Turkish bucket has plastic handles unlike Germany which is a metal rod

I would love to compare the clay in the turkish blend of TM with life source or one of those mud products. Tropic marin could just separate out that stuff and start branding it as tropic mud.

It is about a month in and I have 3 pails I buy each year of TM Pro. It came in half busted boxes taped up. Unfortunately where I bought this gets effected too with no resolution. I wont name them. Just time to move on.

Chewy was selling IO Reef Crystals dirt cheap so just went that route. Maybe all for the best. I adjusted height of auto shut off float switch to make 1.026 density salt with one full bag of reef crystal. Much easier.
