Hello everyone, I have been doing some research and have read several ways to get rid of astapia, I have tried astapia-x, but without good results. What is the best method to eliminate this problem once and for all?

Depends on what is in your tank, I had CBB did a great job but developed a taste for my expensive acans.

If they are on one or two rocks , then remove the rocks there on and let them dry in the sun

try the shrimp if your fish let you.
You might have to withhold food, the shrimp probably prefer mysis vs aptasia if its available.

If he has any lps or softies, say bye bye to them as well... the shrimp WILL eat them.

Purchased Berghia Nudibranchs from Reef Town and they cleaned them right up. Had at least 100 of the pests in my nano and the nudibranchs wiped them out in less than a month.

Edit: Peppermint's have been hit or miss for me in the past, especially if you feed your tank every day.

I tried Joe's Juice and while it did seem to kill them, I started having more pop up and all in places I couldn't easily reach. Finally ordered a pair of Peppermint Shrimps from Algae Barn and within a week my tank looked aiptasia free. If there have been any more, the shrimps have eaten them before I could see them. Bonus that they are also working on my overpopulation of spaghetti worms!

Today I put all my coral into a QT. Sometime next week I am going to use a blowtorch and hit them and then leave them out in the sun. Idk what else to do with dino issues, a puffer and a small tank I feel like I am out of options.

Actually I do what Neonrabbit said. I use a kitch torch/ creme brulee-er. Works good and quickly

Did you torch the whole rock or just spot treat? Did you have to reseed fully from scratch?

considering aiptasia are rooted within the rock it’s best to to do the entire rock, and yes of course it will have die off, and recycle when put back in the tank.

I tried:
1) aiptasia-x and the aiptasia killing wand (these things made it worse)
2) At various times copperband (did not feed well and fought with the tangs ultimately passing), peppermint shrimp, berghia nudibranchs
3) Finally filefish, though they did not solve the problem until I went out of town and my tank-sitter only fed every other day (I typically feed 1-2x per day). I think they needed to get hungry first
