Trying to plan a NARC meeting...

Last meeting was in March. We have had new people join since this and I'm sure everyone would love to meet up sometime. Since we don't have a great LFS to get together at, I know for my car clubs, we get together to eat at a restaurant (CiCi's, Mellow Mushroom, 88 Buffet, Logans Roadhouse, Starbucks, ect) then go out and look at any changes of the cars.

My thought would be the same thing, doesn't have to be expensive, nor would you have to eat. Just get together in a central spot and enjoy ourselves. Maybe try and start doing it at least every other month?

What is your thoughts on this plan? I don't mind being the go to person for setting up the event and getting a reservation ready at a restaurant.

for most of the meetings of the MTRC, we meet at a club members house. the club would buy food or pot luck. Im up for joining you guys but not until september. lol.

I would be ok with starting this in September, as long as others are interested. That way the 2nd month would fall on November and I would volunteer to fry us a turkey for a NARC Thanksgiving.

I would really like to start getting us together more often...

If we can't find someone who could host it at their home, we could always find a restaurant that has a private room we could reserve! I know that Rosie's Cantina & Mikawa (my FAVORITE authentic Japanese restaurant), which are both conveniently located on University Drive, have big private rooms we could get very easily.

I wouldn't mind hosting it at my place, but our house is a little small, but I'm sure we could work something out!

I'm brand new too, but looks like I will be working all but one Saturday in September. Depending on what time you end up choosing, it may fit my sleep schedule enough to come before or after work. So, I guess that makes me a maybe.

We have had family in town for the past week so I have not talked with the boss lady yet but gona see about tring to set one up here at our place for this mnth.
