i was defintely looking at the Nyos. I'll see how the Reef Octopus goes first. I got it off of the classifieds for a great deal. My research shows the Reef Octopus 110ss works well.

I have the XL300 if you go like you are with all Ecotech components then everything will be on the Mobius app which is great to use. I went with eshopps S200 skimmer, banshee 10g ATO and Red Sea doser which fits perfectly on top of the banshee.

I'm thinking about using the reservoir as my refugium on top. Maybe get a custom ato container than is slim and tall.

Those are certainly options. The tall thin ATO reservoir are cool but wouldn't allow me the space in the cabinet for good placement of the ecotech controllers. I also like being able to stack the doser and cabinet fan on top of the reservoir. Im able tobkeep alk and cal reservoir in front of the ATO also. My chaeto grows really well with the neptune gro light. I don't think it significantly impacts export but I like that off setting the light keeps PH more stabil and pods in the tank. I just also like the natural approach to filtration when possible.

Just ordered the Red Sea Reefer 200XL G2 from BRS today. Have the XR15 Pro Gen 5 to pair with it. Can't wait till it gets here!

I will be going with FL aquacultured live rocks with this build, along with pre quarantineed fish suppliers.

I will need a Skimmer for it. Will be going with a heavy bio load.

This will be my first tank with sump.

Hey what are some pre quarantined fish sites you recommend?

Just installed Mur-Lock under sink adapter for my RODI this morning so that is ready to go now. Tank is arriving today. I'll get some empty water containers and start making some clean water . This device is golden

I was able to inspect the tank and accessories and happy to report all is good . Arrived earlier than expected.

I put the stand together tonight. I must of spent 30 minutes looking for the top of cabinet only to find it was at the bottom of the tank.

Stand is strong and sturdy. I would give it 6.5 out of 10 for the stand. Tank is absolutely gorgeous. Will post pics tomorrow

barbs for my Vectra just came in! The Caribsea ocean direct live sand also came in.....but i also have an order from TBS with their ocean live sand. Which one would you go with? I'm debating that before i put the water in the tank.
