If you slow your effluent down, it will circulate through your reactor allowing it to melt more media making it more potent. Or you can speed up your bubble count or raise the pressure on your co2 valve.

if i increase the flow the bubbles will need to increase too otherwise it will not lower to the required ph level

You also have to take into consideration if/how your ph probe was calibrated. Just because mine is set at 7.0, yours may be different. Also the melting point of whatever media you are using. May need more or less ph range to start melting it.

the funny thing is that the reactor kept change the flow by itself , does it mean i did not open the valve big enough ? it kept stopping and starting again

Shouldn't be stopping. Maybe your pump is clogged or there's air in it.

i left it and the ph in the reactor kept increasing . i set the ph - 6.5 on and 6.4 off . should i set a high ph like 7.4 ? it kept staying at 7.8

i used the calibration solution - ph 4 and ph7 to calibrate my ph probe to be used in the cr. i am cabrisea extra course media

question: have anyone managed to perform the same as what the TS have stated in the video ? no matter what i do after i increased the effluent flow rate the ph just does not come down unless i opened the co2 valve fully opened which is crazy

I'm in the process of setting up a CaRX, so I happen to have my second pH probe sitting next to my tank probe. Neither has been calibrated yet. The old one reads 8.25 and the new one for the RX reads 7.89. They will both be getting calibrated in the next couple days.

@David Cher No, the point was to only adjust 1 thing & only adjust the ph in the CaRx. Start at a high number like 7.5 and work the ph down to the down where Cal, Alk & Mag in your tank is stable & at the levels you want
