Tunze Osmolator 3155 overfilling my sump!!

I had the same issue. I raised the return line higher than my ATO resevar and also put at loop at the highest point to make sure I broke the siphon when the pump wasn't running. Works like a champ now.

not sure if this is the same, but I have a Tunze 3152 and it would also continue pumping in fresh water once in a while. I eventually found out that it was due to me rolling up the wires to the float (to keep the wiring neat and tidy - bad idea). Once I spread out the wires, the problem went away.

Mine did this too. Woke up to that terrible alarm in the middle of the night that scared the crap out of me. Mine slowly dripped into my sump ( barely noticeable ) and after trying different things I found that it was due to the water level in my top up container being too high. I don't know why but I've tried messing around with the water level since and sure enough anytime I fill the container to capacity it does this. ( it's a 20 gallon container ) maybe the weight on the pump? Dunno. Good luck!

In my case, my ato ( when full) is 3 inches higher than the level in my sump, which is not cool but...
If it were a siphon causing it, I would only lose that 3 inches in the bucket, not empty it.
