Too cool. I have made many multi mixed zoa rocks and they don't do that. Guess the palys are more apt to do it.

cool so thats is the third blending of nuclears and purple deaths that i've heard of right?

and you plan on isolating the hybrids right?

can't wait to see the outcome - so whats the hypothesis? revert back or continue to show the signature of each morph?

Yes, I will be isolating the hybrids. I believe there will be a dominant strain; Purple Death or Nuclear Green IMO. We will see

That plug has been growing for about 3 months. Started with a couple nucs and a couple PD's

Mine do that all the time but they usually revert back to PD. No grafting or other tricks involved, just a natural variation in juvenile polyps.

Very cool, when fragged they produce one or the other via new polyps. I have not seen a case where the frag colonizes hybrid polyps. It does make me curious to try other mixes of certain palythoa.
