It's tough to see through the picture but if it is coming from the coral it can be a sweeper tentical.
 
It's a little hard to tell from the photo but if its coming from the coral it can possibly be zooxanthellae. Which is basically algae having a mutualistic relationship with the coral. The coral provides the algae with a protected environment and compounds they need for photosynthesis.
 
Lol, Nice picture...well that looks like an arrow coming out of the coral, sooo I'm not a resident expert on arrows... JK... still looks like zooxanthellae
