I saw something similar to that in my tank. When something got "stuck" to the line, it was slowly reeled back in. So weird.

Hahhahahaha....too funny. Mine is definitely not a hair as I watched it come out of a little hole. And it was brown.

If in fact that's what it is. It is actually a comb jelly fish.(but one does not swim) Mine didn't live that long and they normally don't in captivity I believe. That piece may be directly from the ocean.

I suspect that's a dinoflagellets. 2 days no lights and running carbon took it down for me.
