Dinos or not (I can’t get video to play) it has gha that will irritate the coral and prevent opening

Right, I have been dipping any corals that have macro algaes on them. If the growth on the gonis happens to be dinos, does the peroxide dip still work?

On a frag rack, what looks like diatom dust. But nothing stringy like on that particular goni.

I had just got back from vacation and there was a brown dusty film on the glass which I hadnt seen since I started the tank.

I know I will never be able to tell for certain until I get it under a microscope. But just taking the precautions as necessary until I know for sure.

If your nutrients didn’t bottom out while you were gone, I’d sure be surprised if you had dinos. I hope you don’t!
