I heard from him on Tuesday. He said he’s been sick with the flu, but that he was going to ship it out that same day. I expected to receive it today, but it sounds like we’ve all been scammed.

If you go into PP and click on the transaction there is a link on the bottom right that says "Report a problem" or something along those lines. Just follow the link and fill out the questions.

It's best to call. I was scammed on a different forum last year and paid as GIFT... I received a full refund by calling. Clicking the link was not enough. The good is in my claim, there were multiple scams reported on that person so it was easy for me to get a refund. Everyones claim here should be easy as well.

I never did understand how a scammer would think they could get away with it. Mods check IP address so main acct will easily be detected. I do hope someone scams someone through Email as emails contain IP Addresses as well (a little searching will show you how to trace IP Address to coordinates which is usually someones house LOL).

I just called and all they can do is escalate it to a claim and he gets 10 days to refund the money or provide a tracking number. I guess I will get a Christmas present of $80 of my own money on Christmas if nothing else.

I filed a dispute but apparently the “report a problem” option simply sends a message to the seller in hopes of a resolution. I guess I’ll have to call PayPal as well.

He told me on Monday that gyre was still available and to send him paypal. I almost did, but then smelled something fishy based on his activity and email address. In the future, whenever someone pays for a sale post, please make sure to post a comment on the thread saying "payment sent". In that way others know. Sorry. Hope everyone gets their money back.

I got scammed by a guy named William Hill, On facebook. Filed my pp claim, waited 10 days. And got my full refund. You guys will get yours. He has to provide tracking # and your shipping address . Showing he shippied. Obviously he didnt.

lol ok yea I didn't look into his user name so to much. I'm not worried that I won't get my money back but scum like this ruin it for people.

We have feedback rating. Problem is, R2R moved it to a sole link.
It should be restored and visible immediately upon seeing other partys' link like it used to be.
