posted to all my local channels no one can identify this.

Described as a crescent roll shaped shell that splits wide wise not long wise like a clam. Appears to have what looks like a shrimp inside it. 2 white eyes and little legs like what's on a cleaner shrimp

It's back inside a creves so lighting is hard to see have photos and video.

Let me know if you have any idea what this is. I have another picture but won't let me upload it yet working on it

I can't see the video, but doesn't that sort of "shut/react" when you disturb it?

I need to dig around in my PM a ways back, but I have a video you're going to like.....

Don't worry, it's nothing bad..... I didn't think I would get the chance to see this again...cool.... brb.

yes it closes like a clam would getting to close to it but just in the opposite direction you would normally see a shell close.

I posted the youtube link for the video maybe you can see it now??

it loos like that but's not that fast... when it closed it looks like the shell outline... is there a name for it?

Yup, I know what your look at there. It's a feather duster worm and those aren't eyes, but a reflection of some structures. I'm digging around to find it in my stuff.

Go ahead and touch it... I promise it's safe.

It may take me a bit to find the information I'm looking for, but I assure you, it's nothing to worry about. I KNOW it looks nothing like a feather duster in those pictures and you may think I'm nuts, but by this time tomorrow I'll have to convinced. :-)

Following along because I wanna hear how Renee is going to convince us it is a feather duster lol. That thing is crazy looking!

Its not in a spot I can get too at all to try to touch... Our tank is built in and it's viewable from 2 sides....

Living Room Side, it's actually in the hole you see in the rock in front of the urchin... This photo is 4 years old... The rock is much more cultured now
