Upgrading got 2k for tank, stand and sump

With $2000.00 you can get a lot of used tank for that. A lot. Look on FB marketplace. See something you like, do some research on it and go from there. I just picked up a 180 Oceanic bowfront with stand, canopy and the megaflow overflow kit all for 460.00 a deal like that leaves plenty of room for the other things you need.

The biggest thing is I keep showing my wife different things trying to find out exactly what she loves and doesn't love. Well 1 day she loves this and the next day she loves that and the following she dont like any. So now I told her to pick out what she likes and show me some pics and I will find something that will work.

I second the IM INT tanks. I have the 100INT and would be all over that 150 or 115 for that matter if it was out when I bought mine. Love! The depth. I have the aps stand as well. Rock solid and light weight. Under mine I bought a trigger 34 emerald series “blemished” straight from trigger for a nice discount. You can email and ask them what’s available

I understand that. Lucky mine is pretty easy on what she likes. She don't want to change water but she will scrape the glass and feed them and turn on the lights. It's important they like it too.

Yea mine will feed and pick out fish and corals. But the maintenance aspect is mostly me. She will help if I ask her to.

I'm really debating hard on making a stand. That seems to be the biggest issue that I continue to run into with her. She likes some of the stands and some she dont. I do have a question about IM stands. I found a tank she likes. Is 48x24. The IM SR80 is the same size but the stand is a little smaller. It measures 47.5x23.81 so my question is how are they getting away with the stand being slightly smaller. Because I could always buy the IM APS stand if it would work but I'm unsure.

I've been emailing glass cages a bunch and been back forth asking them alot of questions. They seem to offer a good variety and have more or less what I'm wanting.
