Upgrading got 2k for tank, stand and sump

So the tank, stand, screen and ato for that. How's it drilled? Herbie style? 1 inch and 3/4 internal or external overflow. Also what sump are you going to run?

It’s a bean animal style. The top half of the plumbing is included. Below the bulkheads will need plumbing. Here is the link to the INT-75 gal plumbing which is identical.

I’m going with a custom sump 30 x 18 x 15 similar to the one below. Manny at Reef Gardens is building the sump.

48" × 36"???? Those are AMAZING dimensions, what's the height? Did they keep with IMs usual shallower dimensions?

There are more pics/videos on IM's facebook and Instagram pages. The APS stands are hard to beat since they're light weight but hold a ton of weight. Not to mention they'll last forever. I've had over 7 IM tanks (one with the APS stand) and their products keep getting better and better. The INT-100 are pretty nice as well. I wanted more of the cube/lagoon style tank. It will be a mainly SPS tank so I picked up a Giesemann Stellar Hybrid T5 fixture and 2 Kessil A360x for the lighting.

What's the sump running you? Going with skimmer chamber and refuge. Thinking I may make my own sump but not sure.

Building a sump is a good idea. It could save you a good amount of money and you can always upgrade down the road if you wanted.

Figured I'd splurge on the Sump. It's going to cost around $600+ It will be 3/8 acrylic with lids covering all sections of the sump to reduce evaporation. Main reason I decided to go custom was due to evaporation and the size sump I needed for this tank. Most cookie cutter sumps wont work. The sump will have adjustable baffles, filter cups, heater holders, probe holders, skimmer stand, etc…. I was looking at advanced acrylics sumps but between the sump and freight I would be looking at around $1000. Besides I'd rather source local and Manny does great work. He built the lid for my RS 650 peninsula and I couldn't be happier with his craftsmanship.

FYI internal dimensions of the IM INT 3x3 112 gal is 32.37 x 32.37

Trigger 34 is too big to fit in the stand. The Eshopps isn't bad but you would want to consider check valves for the returns. Especially since the lock line returns in the tank will siphon water into the sump if the pump stops. The amount of water siphoned will vary depending on the depth of the loc line returns. I plan on running VCA RFG nozzles on mine and in order to not have them suck air they need to be below the surface a ways. I don't mind the air sucking occasionally, which happens with the RFGs on my other tanks due to the alternating flow in the tanks. Only issue it causes is the micro bubbles popping at the surface causing salt creep.

$1800 for the tank, stand, upper half of the plumbing, screen and the IM 15 gal ATO reservoir. You would need to call IM directly and talk to Paul to order one. Again they're not shipping until Feb. The same set up for the 4 x 3 is $2500

It's only 15 inches in width. So shouldnt I be able to put it in sideways. I was going on the premises the stand was the same size as the tank. Guess I need to email them or call them and get stand size.

The Eshopps sumps have been on sale on Dr. F&S lately + a 15-20% off coupon is the best deals for the Eshopps sumps at the moment. Believe me I shopped around. ;Greedy

2k to spend on a tank I would of loved to have that for one I could have a awesome tank if u had that. I'd buy a 150 tank n drill it myself put a large overflow and build a custom sump and stand at that point u would have probably 1000 left over to pumps n skimmer n lighting for it ... But that's me. I did all my tanks myself stand n plumbing ECT n mod my original sump anyways good luck whatever you get your have to be happy with it take your time and plan it out before jumping. HAPPY REEFING

IM and SCA sells just the tanks if you’re looking to build a stand. Usually free shipping included. There are a few other tank builders out there. Thing is most wont include frieght for free and is around $200-300 for the freight charge.

With $2000.00 you can get a lot of used tank for that. A lot. Look on FB marketplace. See something you like, do some research on it and go from there. I just picked up a 180 Oceanic bowfront with stand, canopy and the megaflow overflow kit all for 460.00 a deal like that leaves plenty of room for the other things you need.
