I’ve the same tank as well! I’m at the 9 month mark and things seem to be stabilizing nicely. I’m with lsuHunter and I’ve purposely not added any skimmer,ato or other options until I feel the need. ( 1 small power head seems to work fine)
Lots of comments saying to say “dump the foam inserts” but mine work well and I just rinse weekly.
But if it suits you there are many upgrades that people do with their flex32. Just search here and you’ll get plenty.
Above all else go slow and have fun!
