Liveaquaria sent me out one item from a back order and it was supposed to arrive today by 10:30 am and it’s in limbo now.
It’s an Urchin. How will I know if it’s dead, not as obvious as a fish.

UPS lost my package. You can live track the delivery driver and I wondered why he was a block away and didn’t come to my house. So I tracked him down and he doesn’t have the package. Even Liveaquaria called UPS and was told it was on the truck.

UPS stupidity probably killed the poor critter. It’s been two days since shipped. I don’t care about getting my money back.

:( Poor lil dude sadly I’ve had a negative experience with ups aswell from live aquaria yellow watchman goby 3 emerald crabs 3 hermits didn’t get my package till 4 days after it was supposed to be here lots of phone calls to live aquaria and ups tracking system said in transit but everyone at ups kept giving me the run around they had no clue where it was it’s on it’s way it’s on the truck then I get a call oh sir there was a notice left on your door (which never happened) my package was available for pick up at a local ups store when I got there my package was inside a Black trash bag and inside another cardboard box my package from live aquaria was obviously damaged during transport and had leaked which ups would not own up too or give me a explanation said it was wet when they received it :mad:emerald crabs bag had been punctured and leaked they all died and yellow watchman was also a goner but the hermits survived but anyways my live aquaria handled everything and were very pleasant to work with they apologized a million times and replaced the entire shipment free of charge you should have no issues getting your money back or a replacement :)

When did they ship it? I'm assuming the weather this week is the cause, I'd like to think LA was smart enough not to ship after the weather issues started.

They shipped Wed to arrive Thursday. I got a Coco worm and some emerald crabs. One small heat pack that was cold. Water temps at 60°. One crab dead, haven't seen the worm make an appearance yet. Their packaging in service has gone downhill lately.

My UPS driver is an idiot. The box says live fish and he is to lazy to ring the door bell...

I have had my driver do that to. The last couple of shipments, I left a note on the screen door. If you’re going to walk to the door, have the courtesy to knock and ring, then leave the package.

Hate to say, but having shipped a LOT of things... Many delivery drivers are either disgruntled, or on auto pilot. All they see is the address... and sometimes not even that.

More than likely the little urchin is dead, but why would UPS care. They get paid.

One heat pack. Not cool!!!!

I'd refuse the package and let it go back to Liveaquaria. Then they can fight with UPS.
I wouldn’t have done that, I think he did the right thing taking it home to see what was alive. Shipping it back almost guarantees that everything dies.

We agree to disagree. The loss of life in the package isn't on him. It's on UPS. The contents of this package have been unfed in a dark, unlit environment for what; a week? I'd guarantee everything is dead already.

I know I don’t have to fight UPS. That’s not the point. Why deliver the package now. The livestock is dead.
