Build thread: (n) a chain of postings an the DIY or member tank forums showing progressions of projects
Toothy unenthusiast: string that holds stuff together.
Check valve: (n) a plumbing part that allows passage in one direction, preventing back flow of air or water.
To the unenthusiast: making sure you checked the valve on the garden hose while filling the pool.

Aptasia: (n) invasive anemone usually found on wild caught corals. These can come in from the wild and spread onto anything in their way. Usually these are signs of lack of attention and can quickly devastate both FOWLR and Reef tanks via painful sting.
