Will use kanaplex in a week which I think you said is fine with copper?..

Yes

Thank you both, again thinking of wrasses and other delicate fish, which antibiotic would you suggest to keep on hand?
Kanaplex is a good one because kanamycin is readily absorbable by the fish's skin. Furan-2 is another good option. For really bad infections, you can combine Kanaplex + Furan-2 + Metroplex to achieve a very wide spectrum of treatment.

I also like NFG powder, especially for treating "red sores" on angels & butterflies: http://store.nationalfishpharm.com/Nitrofuracin-Green-59584.Item.html

Am I at 2.0ppm for coppersafe, over 2 or under 2? Very hard to tell, I went outside, inside change lights.. everything looks different. I accidentally left carbon in the HOB and realized about 10 hours later, so it threw off the 9-10 teaspoons I was aiming to dose.

Picture from the outside with some okay lighting (its 7PM):

You'll want to take the cap off and look at it from the top.

Just curious, what are symptoms that fish aren't taking copper well? Just want to know so I can identify if there's any problems.

Would they be swimming weird, listless, lack of appetite, breathing heavy, breathing slowly?.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, my regal isn't doing very well... Other fish seems fine including the PT.. I did the feed test and he did take a few pellets but that was it.. He swimming very abnormal.

He was swimming weird since a few days ago but this is looking much worse, like he isn't taking copper very well.. but his twitching and scratching is less often than before. Hope he makes it.. he's my favorite fish :( .. Anything else I should try or just let this ride and see?

Sometimes you have to lower the copper level, let the fish get a few good meals in and then slowly ramp it back up. If you notice signs of copper intolerance the second go around, then its time to look for an alternative treatment.

I'm afraid if I low the copper they will get attacked by the velvet... he's pretty fat, always eaten very well.. Will copper intolerance kill him or just bother him for a few days until he gets used to it?

So long as he's eating something, he should be OK. But if he stops eating entirely, you'll need to lower the Cu level until he resumes.

More white spots on the regal this morning. Do you think he got hit with new velvet or this is old ones that are growing? I checked copper levels and it's 2.00ppm.

I am doing a fw dip in 30 mins. I found a store with ruby rally. Would it be helpful to do that bath this afternoon or no?

@125mph Can you post photos of the Hippo showing the newest white spots?

Well, the pics are similar to last week on original post. White spots on the tail fin and slight white spots on the body. It's faint similar to the first pic. He looks very weak. I think he may die in a few hours.

The white on the tail fin was gone after the first fw dip though. It's back.

Another good photo would be of the test from the top right beside the 2.0 mark....sometimesoon colors don't look correct unless looked at through a camera...I have had troubles before myself...

Here's two just taken, outdoors... Sucks, I think the regal angel is a goner.. I had him when he was less than an inch big. Barely moving right now.. Maybe during the time when I took salinity back up and ramped up copper, more dinos developed.

If it was gone immediately after the FW dip, this suggests flukes or something else worm-like.

Copper is good....hmm...humble Moffitt be on to something ....flukes would have fallen off in the fw bath
