URGENT! Neptune Apex connectivity

You would probably need a second device (
Does that work? I haven’t thought too much about that because I feel like it wouldn’t work as my phone hotspot wouldn’t be on the same network.
I think you would need a second device (phone, laptop, desktop, etc.) to connect to your hotspot.

This would of course be temporary just to test it out...you'll need IT to help you do something more permanent.

I wonder if it’s one of those wifi systems that require a captive login webpage before it will let you on. Similar to what you see in malls and other free wifi setups (a you connect to the wifi and it pops up a webpage where you agree to the terms and conditions). If so then the issue is the Apex can’t display the captive webpage and complete your connection thereafter.

It’s not that! It’s that you need a username and password to login in and all the employees/students have different ones.

would it not be easier to just get a wifi extender, plug that into a wall, set it up on your network, then connect the apex to it with a username and password?

Just an idea I had when reading this thread.
