Ahhh thanks lol @NY_Caveman and @Crabby48 ))). I had to work from 8 last night to 8 tonight so not doing much but sleep for the rest of it. However, later this week I will probably grab my nephews and niece and do something fun.
Work was fun, they gave me a cake of a person, and it was kinda mortifying lol because when went to eat the cake, we were cutting the persons arms and legs off. Of course to embarrass me more they chopped the cakes head off.
Some friends there took some pics, so as soon as they send them to me I can share.

Lol I don’t know it was a red velvet cake inside and white frosting lol. They did make it look like a girl with long hair which yeah is me (kinda mortifying lol) but we had fun and did it after the shift change. They all pitched in and gave me a gift card to either Olive Garden or red lobster. It was super neat and unexpected. I would have been happy with frosty from Wendy’s.

@Brew12 sorry I just saw your post so that is good to know. If my nitrates start to creep back up, then I would just dose accordingly right. It’s odd that there are so many different test kits, and how far they range. I use the api I know it’s not the best but most I can’t find unless I order. Even the directions lol say to only test with their test kits.

However, I don’t think it would matter much because depending on the tank etc, nitrates have to be within a broad range. It’s not like ammonia, where even a tiny bit can harm your fish etc.

On a side note lol my username is no longer accurate I am now 25. I’m 1/4 of a century old no wait, yeah that’s okay, but can I just stay at this number lol.

I like the API test kits for nitrate. Works as well as any of them and is incredibly easy to use. As long as my nitrates are between 5ppm and 30ppm I don't worry about them. Right now I am going for growth, not color, since my system is just a bit over a year old. I might pay more attention to them when my tank is filled in more and I worry about coloration more than growth.

Sorry my friends I had to work a 24 shift then I ended up doing more like 27. So I have also been sick with a head cold and about 80% right that I have sinus infection, but need to do the test, and see the dr (tomorrow yay). So I have been kinda sleeping to feel better, but when I was out with my parents they gave me a step ladder lol to work on my tank. It’s awesome and I’m pretty sure I can climb to the top of it and do a hand stand . But definitely makes it easier for me to clean the tank.

Thank you all for the lovely comments I would name them all but if I think too much right now lol my brain will melt. Oh how I love the head compression and stuffyness it really makes it hard for some to understand me lol. My accent is bad enough with out being sick. But thankfully I have pseudoephedrine to the rescue.

It would be lovely if pharmaceuticals would create a cold and cough medicine that doesn’t taste like four day old burnt toast. It’s terrible when the only way to get rid of the after taste is by drinking (like coke cola). Gosh it’s awful and for the price it should be yummy. I have tried the kids stuff, but it’s definitely not the same. I should probably clean my tank, and use the new ladder, but my ears pop as I climb in elevation lol. I’ll probably go crawl into a dark tunnel with a pillow and blanket .

Hope you start feeling better! I battled through the crud last week on Sudafed, Dayquil and Nyquil. Dark tunnels were a wonderful thing. Just don't crawl near your sump, we know what it is used for!

@Brew12 lol sorry about the crud but umm (if you happen to know any lovely tasting cough medicine by all means let me know. We can trade I can give you a coral frag and you can give me the secret to cough medicine).

Woke up this morning and must say I had the oddest breakfast, one of those little pudding snacks. It was quick easy and gentle on the stomach (which is fine). But, wow NyQuil has the part of knock you out down pretty good.
I had to work a mandatory 12 and I didn’t make it 4 hours. They looked at me and go but why lol, we need you. (As I sat in my dictation room, on my chair half asleep, (drool coming out of my mouth), and more than likely I completed and recorded a partial sleep study on me, instead of finishing my notes. (That I will complete tonight lol when I’m not feeling as if I was dragged behind a golf cart over speed bumps.

So today my plans are :
1.) sleep
2.) catch my tank up (which isn’t much)
3.) maybe load my dish washer, I have like three glasses and a bowl or two on a plate. (Sadly that’s my week worth of dishes since I have been sick).
4.) need to go lfs need ro and other items
5.) sleep more because I have a 24 today lol

Any other suggestions and all pray that my weather man is not a moron. They are predicting 12-15 inches of snow this weekend. We have totally been just jipped on snow this year. So send me all your snow storms because I kinda want like 3 feet of snow. I’m determined to build Olaf, he can give me warm hugs

Oh yeah that would definitely fix me up, but would make it to where I can’t be at work for about a week lol. They are very strict what I can be on while performing my duties. But the idea of having a week off is pretty promising lol.

Just so everyone knows I’m very contagious kinda like a level 5 virus similar to Ebola Zaire and or HIV. But my side effects include making people smile, laughing, life long friendships, advice, and love and care for all around me. I’m very addicting and their is no cure for the Lovesarah virus .

Eeek kinda scary I compared myself to Ebola Zaire and hiv I so need extreme counseling lol.

@norfolkgarden umm since your into safety first, does this mean I’m not allowed to do a hand stand or one handed hand stand on top of it, and twinkling my toes? . I have thought about a harness strap as well, but the ladder is so light it wouldn’t hold me. If I fell I’m worried it would come on top of me. Yes it plastic and light (heavy duty I will say), but even paper can harm someone. I know I won’t move my tank, but what would I attach to? Looks like I may have to keep the middle school kids employed who hold my repelling valet rope.
