VERY LOUD SUMP

You have no pipes extending below the waterline and your hoses are too long. Raise them higher so trapped air can more easily be flushed out.

The water level needs to be much higher.

The pipe goes down below the water level in the back, you just can’t see it. The hose came with the system, there’s no way to make it shorter without cutting off the ends that connect to the bulk heads... any suggestions on using a different type of hose? I did turn down the flow on the pump and it made it quieter and no big burst of air...

I'd like to help. But for some reason, I am unable to sometimes see video that is embedded to a post.

I am also not able to see the video so I can't speak to what you shared in the video, but from your description you mentioned that the first pipe into the tank is below the water level. Is the noise coming from where the water spills over into the filter sock? If so, you have a few options including changing the filter sock out for a filter media cup and adding media; adding a sponge or a loofah to the filter sock; or adding a diffuser/splash guard.

I have an rs-300. Your drain hose shouldn't dip then go back high again. It needs to be a downhill slanted to your sock area. If you don't then it will gurgle in your overflow then thru your drain lines. It will continually break siphon then pick back up which is very loud & annoying.

My eshopps hoses were too long as well. What I did was remove the black bulkheads then run my drain hoses thru the hole then right under the waterline

I am not quite sure why it is not playing for you guys. I did slow down the flow of the pump and it is MUCH quieter now, but I still need to do something about my drain hose being as long as it is... think I’m going to replace it this weekend. I really appreciate all of your guys help with everything! Thanks so much! I have an RODI system on the way as well as a ATO. On my way to getting things running smoothly! (Hopefully!)

From reading through your descriptions of whats going on. First make sure you have the shortest or most appropriate length of hose that allows a constant down flow to the sump. If you're willing then have it hard plumbed with PVC for the ultimate quiet flow with a gate valve if you have an emergency drain. Very easy to do and everything you would need to learn is right on youtube.
Second, your water useage of a gallon every 3-4 days isnt that out of the ordinary depending on the time of year and type of heating system in your home. You need and ATO system with at least a 5 gallon reservoir in my opinion. My preference is the Micro ATO system available and most LFS or online.

I would suggest a gate valve on the drain line and/or a way to adjust the air going in to the drain line vent hole. That hose is too long, and its corrugated which means it isn't going to be quiet, I would suggest going to home depot and get a new vinyl hose that is shorter so the water has straight run to the sump, this will allow less air in the line.

If that is quiet enough for you then great! :) Need to remove the metal clamp there though if that is how you are going to run it. It is exposed to the water spray and will corrode quickly. Also you will just need to be careful to make sure that hose doesn't get tugged or pulled accidentally since it is not secured to a pipe any longer.

The shorter hose definitely helps. I don't recommend the metal hose clamp though, it will rust over time. Eshopps sells different length hoses, that would be the best choice I think.

If you are annoyed by the noise of the sump pump, then this guide is for you. For quieter operation of the sump pump, you should reduce the water flow and make the water move faster, which can be done by using a circulation pump or wave generator completely underwater to make the sump pump run more smoothly. The sump pump is quieter. You will need to keep the pipes and hoses as straight as possible to reduce the noise from the pump.
