Wow amazing tank! I’m planning on ramping up the blues slowly.Yup, running 100% blue/violet and 50% white/green/red.
Three years running now...
Your numbers are fine....it’s quite hard to make a mistake with this light.

Awesome. Thank youI would think that is plenty for softies and lps. Best way to check is get a par meter.
It’s a 40 breeder. So it’s 36x18x17Hold on.
What is the tank size, especially depth?
Whatever you do, check with a par meter. My buddy had a 40breeder with the lights 12 inches off the water (not sure of his intensity) and his par was 500 on the sand. They are extremely powerful lightsHey all!
Is anyone running the Viparspectra light? I’m trying to figure out what would be a good intensity to go with for softies and lps. Currently my blues are 60% and my white is 5%
Will do. So far everything is doing good.Just be careful with the shallow depth of a 40 breeder. Those black boxes are powerful
Gotcha. I’ll try and get one. I appreciate itWhatever you do, check with a par meter. My buddy had a 40breeder with the lights 12 inches off the water (not sure of his intensity) and his par was 500 on the sand. They are extremely powerful lights
no problem. We rented one from BRS. His viparspectra out par'ed my maxed out hydra 26/32s. I'm considering switching to it.Gotcha. I’ll try and get one. I appreciate it
Dang that’s crazy. I’ll have to rent oneno problem. We rented one from BRS. His viparspectra out par'ed my maxed out hydra 26/32s. I'm considering switching to it.
Do you have any lps or softiesNo par readings for reference, but I have this light and I have it at 80 blue and 5% white. I have had to dial the intensity down to acclimate some sps and then slowly increase.

That’s good to hear. I’ll slowly ramp it up. What size tank?LPS and SPS and Zoanthids. I added coral in Jan 2020. Good growth and colors.
